A brief autumn walk to embrace the changing of seasons and the passage of time
“Autumn leaves don't fall, they fly. They take their time and wander on this their only chance to soar.”
― Delia Owens, Where the Crawdads Sing
Fall is absolutely one of my favorite times of year. It allows me to slow down, reflect and enjoy a beautiful display of colors from Mother Nature. As the seasons change, I'm always reminded of the passage of time and how seemingly quick and slow time can feel as I age. I feel a sense of gratitude as I think about my loving family, my friends, my health and the opportunities that I get to embrace in life. These are the days and I'm happy to be living them.
